Rainbow School Complex proprietors recognised among the best in Cameroon

Chief Charles and Lady Morene Morfaw have been honoured with a national award by investigative journalists led by FAH ELVIS TAYONG. They evaluated schools across the country — without the school's prior knowledge.

In a recognition that came as a complete surprise, the founders and proprietors of Rainbow School Complex — Chief Charles Morfaw and Lady Morene Morfaw — were awarded "The most dynamic proprietor and proprietress of the year 2025" by a group of investigative journalists who conducted a thorough, independent evaluation of educational institutions across Cameroon.

An award earned without lobbying

The journalists carried out their investigation discreetly, visiting campuses, speaking with parents, reviewing examination results and assessing the overall school environment — all without the proprietors' knowledge or participation. When the results were compiled, Rainbow School Complex stood out as a model institution. Chief Charles and Lady Morene were presented with the award recognising them as among the best school proprietors in the country.

What the recognition means

For a school that has always prioritised substance over spectacle — Hard Work, Prayers and Patience as a daily reality, not just a motto — this kind of recognition carries particular weight. It came not from a competition the school entered, but from independent observers who looked for the same things parents look for: discipline, visible results, a safe environment and a leadership team that cares.

A word from the founders

The Morfaws have said that this honour belongs first to the students who work hard every day, the teachers who guide them and the parents who trust the school with their children. The recognition reflects a community effort built over more than twenty years in Dschang.

Rainbow School Complex remains committed to the values that earned this recognition — and to continuing to raise the standard of bilingual education in the West Region of Cameroon and beyond.
